Developmentation Of Financial Information Decision Supporting System For Regional Power Generation Based On Oracle EBS

At the end of 2002,the national electric power system reformed,five major power generation groups have been established.For example,“Begin with power plant,group companies and regional power generation followed” is the development pattern of China Datang Corporation.This lead that the management standards and management practices and management infrastructure of the basic power plant is not completely uniform.Group companies and regional power generation are controlled seriously.Especially the unified financial management system brings much inconvenience for the group operation and management decision.The paper is based on the scientific,standard system of enterprise information encoding,which makes full use of modern information technology,computer,network and database and so on.Modernized information processing and management of the regional power generation and basic enterprise have to be fully realized.Constructing integrated enterprise information system and improving the efficiency of business operations and reducing costs are the foundation of a first rate power generation enterprise.The paper that was based on the powerful function of Oracle EBS platform and focused on the financial information decision system of regional power company as the core module realized seamless integration of financial management system and the system of fixed assets and material management and others systems,to implement the overall budget management to every aspect of business of the company.It achieved the early warning and control,monitoring and final analysis through curing the management procedures and internal control procedures in system.The system employed financial management information system as the core business to achieve the main business process curing,data sharing,horizontal integration of business and finance and the regional longitudinal power generation company real-time monitoring and management of subordinate units.The financial information management system mainly includes the following contents that are general ledger management,budget management,financial planning management,management of loans and bills,payables management,receivable account management,project cost management,reporting and financial analysis financial statements and financial analysis and other core modules.It integrated themodule of the fixed assets management and procurement and inventory management and so on to achieve seamless integration of the main business of financial and economic power,budgeting the early warning and control of management overall.The application of this system realized informationization and integration of the company in the aspect of financial management,equipment management and procurement and warehouse business management,and made the work flow and job functions achieving specification and optimization of higher level,and improved work efficiency.
