Study On The Influence Of Rural Residents' Income Structure On Consumption Structure In Anhui Province

As China's economy enters a new normal,economic growth has a transformation from export-oriented to domestic demand-driven,and the economic pulling effect of consumption which has become the main body of the demand growth is increasingly significant.There is a large agricultural population and huge rural consumer groups in Anhui Province.With the raising of farmers' income,rural consumption is growing,and has gradually become an important part of domestic demand.Therefore,it is of great significance to research the current situation of rural consumption structure in Anhui Province and analyze the impact of income structure on consumption structure in different areas and different levels,which is significant to the development of economy and comprehensively build a well-off society in Anhui Province.Based on the previous research experience,this paper uses the time series data,the section data,the panel data,the descriptive statistics,the panel data model,the ELES model and so on,to study Anhui's rural residents consumption structure systematically and analyze the impact of income structure on consumption structure and its regional differences,and the effect of income level on consumption structure.Firstly,through a descriptive statistical analysis on the current situation of Anhui rural residents' income structure and consumption structure,we find that the income of rural residents in Anhui Province is lower than the central region and the whole country,and there are regional differences,and the gap between different income classes is widening,and also find that income growth is mainly dependent on wage income and income from household business operation,and rural consumption structure has a upgrade from the survival type to development type,enjoy type,and that different income groups consumption stratification phenomenon is increasingly serious.Then,by using the rural consumption and income data of 1998-2013 in Anhui Province and the panel data of 2008-2013,the paper has a empirical analyzes of the impact of income structure on consumption structure.The results show that there is a "mental account" phenomenon in rural residents' consumption.we find that the wage income and income from household business operation have a significant influence on consumption structure,and non-basic income has a significant stimulating effect on consumption.It's proved that there are regional differences in the impact of income structure on consumption structure.After using the hierarchical data of income and consumption,the ELES model is used to study the impact of income level on consumption structure.The results show that there are significant differences in the consumption structure of rural consumer groups at different income levels.Finally,according to the main conclusions of the study,this paper puts forward some suggestions to enlarge the rural consumption by narrowing the income gap,optimizing the consumption environment,perfecting the social security and promoting the upgrading of consumption structure.
