The scale and the number of power plant projects are growing along with the accelerating process of industrialization and the national support for electricity power projects and large equipment export recently.Due to the economic growth in developing countries,as well as the old and the new grid equipment replacement in developed countries,the global transmission and distribution market also have a rising demand.With the outstanding performance in the market,the heavy and large scale equipment shipping has became a development trend in the equipment export.The transportation of power plant project become the focus of the whole project and cost budget due to the extraordinary weight and dimensions which can affect the transport costs seriously.In some developing countries,the relatively poor road condition and long transport path contribute a lot on the risk of damage.Safe,rapid,economical transportation of the heavy and large equipment are the key points for the success of the shipping projects which directly affect the construction progress of the electric projects.This thesis focuses on the selection of transportation scheme for prefabricated substation,and how to take advantage of the prefabricated design,improving the efficiency of the transportation for the whole project.In order to deeply understand the optimized transportation scheme of prefabricated substation,this thesis presents a solution through the analytical hierarchy process.The research base on bulk transport,especially the transportation of prefabricated substation,studies the factors' characteristics which can affect the transportation scheme for prefabricated substation.It also has an overall consideration on the transportation limits and time limits of the destinations and delivery point as well as the possibility of multimodal transfer,etc.The paper establishes a selection system which is helpful for chosen the reasonable scheme.In order to solve the problem in a more practical way,the transportation of Qingdao TGOOD Hong Kong railway 25kv substations was studied as an example.A relatively proper transportation scheme is chosen through the analytical hierarchy process.In the end,the operational measures and suggestions for the prefabricated substation transport company are given in accordance to the case.
