Enterprises are economic cells, and their founders together with core leaders write corporate big picture, corporate culture and strategy by value orientation. It is value orientation that makes differences between enterprises and their top leaders. With the rapid development of economic globalization, corporate social responsibility has played an increasingly important part in corporate reputation at home and abroad. What's more, consumers now chase products and service which contain more social responsibility factors. In these cases, corporate top managers have to take this responsibility into account when meeting strategic crossing. It has proved that values, as tower light, affect how much CSR weight will be put into strategic choice. Therefore, top managers'values become a core factor of this paper which takes city Zhu Zhou as an example for how top managers' values influence corporate social responsibility.Firstly, This paper elaborates background, purpose and future meanings of the study as well as related researches and results, at home and abroad, on personal values and corporate social responsibility. On the basis of upper echelons the-ory, the paper proposed a model for how top managers' values influence corporate social responsibility, and then, research hypotheses were formed, that is two types of values make differences in corporate social responsibility. With the support of IBM's Statistical Package for Social Sciences(Versionl8. 0), the essay made descriptive and correlative analysis for data from the questionnaires collected from 16 companies in Zhu Zhou city, which, then, proved that two types of values indeed make difference in CSR performance. Finally, discussions about how actually top managers' values influence corporate social responsibility from different perspectives has been organized.
