Research On Construction Of BG Steel Company Vietnam Steel Processing And Distribution Center Project Management

Iron and steel processing and distribution center is a steel company close to the user for customer service,is also a good way to create effective and the best means to understand the market.Currently,many large steel companies have already established or are in the process of building steel processing and distribution center.By setting up such kind of steel service center,Steel companies can provide better services to their end users.Steel distribution center has been generally recognized,becoming a trend for development.BG is a famous steel company in China,focusing on producing and selling high end flat products,with auto and white goods industry as its target markets.BG's goal is to be a world first class steel products,so,technology,and service provider.Internationalization is inevitable if BG's goal can be realized.Because lacking of overseas steel service center,developing market and stabilizing customers are limited.So,it is necessary to set up overseas steel service center if BG wants to enlarge its export of high value added cold rolled products.Taking Baoshan Iron and Steel Processing and Distribution Center project in Vietnam as the background and theories of project management as guide,basic theories of distribution center and steel logistics are used for the construction of steel distribution center in this paper.Firstly,the definition of steel distribution center,features,functions and international development are introduced.Then,the necessity and feasibility of the project are analyzed from both external and internal dimensions of the BG Steel Logistics Distribution Center Construction of Vietnam's environment.Furthermore,principles and positioning of the construction of BG Vietnam Steel Service Center are analyzed and work breakdown structure and Gantt chart are used to analyze the construction of the Steel Service Center.Finally,the key point of management in the process of setting up the steel service center is described in the aspects of project implementation,project risk management and project closeout.
