Study On The Product Development Process Of Elevator Based On Concurrent Engineering

With the development of technology and economy,major changes have also taken place in the elevator market.Market demand is developed to shorter product development cycle,energy conservation and environmental protection,advanced function,safe and reliable.The traditional elevator design pattern is unable to meet the demand of the market.Therefore,we proposed the new development model base on concurrent engineering in the industry.This paper shows the actual application and results of company E when the concurrent engineering is used on product design.Highlight the feasibility of the concurrent engineering theory and the significant role in the process of the elevator research and development.Firstly,this paper expounds the three conditions of implementing concurrent engineering in product development in E company,namely based on concurrent engineering product development processes,efficient integration product development team,and a unified information management system;Second,by E company' s experience elaborated the theory method and the actual operation process of design for cost based on concurrent engineering,because of using CAX technology applied,elevator design is more efficiency,more standardized which brings a large extent reduce the design cost.Improving the efficiency of design made it possible to shorten product development cycle;Secondly,concurrent engineering requires considering the quality of the product at the beginning of design,being optimized in various function departments during the process of manufacturing.Implemented further improving design quality and product development process by combining the quality management and project management tools effectively,so that the quality of products get continuous improvement;Finally,By the practice situation and the effect of application of the key technology of concurrent engineering during product development of E company' s GAN2 series elevator are briefly described,demonstrates the practical value of concurrent engineering in the process of product development,and look forward to the prospect of comprehensive application of concurrent engineering.
