Wuhan Public Traffic Management Research Under The Background Of Smart City

As social problems such as population explosion in urban area,shortage of resources,environmental pollution and traffic jam grow increasingly,almost all countries are active on the construction of smart city project and aim at creating modern life of smart city.Premier Li Keqiang proposed the outlook that "develop smart city,protect and heritage history and regional culture" in the government work report of 2015.Smart city is an important national carrier for China’s urbanization,industrialization,information technology,and it is the only way to achieve national strategic objectives.Traffic,a curial economic tie to connect cities,plays a significant role on urban development.As a result,public traffic should be an important part of the construction of smart city.Urban modernization requires improving public traffic management under the background of smart city,integrating current resources and enhancing management level.Wuhan,as a rising city in central China,its pace of urban construction is accelerating and demands for traffic is increasing.Issues on public traffic are urged to be solved.Under such background,starting from the researches on public traffic in domestic and abroad and comparing the weakness of domestic researches,this paper will analyze and investigate the public traffic issues in Wuhan and make further researches through literature review and data analysis.This paper involves six parts as following:The first part is the introduction of this paper.This part will mainly elaborate the research background and significance and review and evaluate relevant researches in domestic and abroad.Also,the research methods and creativity and feasibility of this paper will be introduced.The second part is the overview of basic concept and basic theory.Firstly,it will summarize smart city and public traffic.Secondly,it will introduce the relevant basic theory.The third part is the analysis of public traffic development situation and issues existing in management in Wuhan.First it will show the traffic situation in Wuhan.Then there comes the analysis of reasons leading to those issues.The fourth part is the experience and enlightenment on public traffic management in abroad.It will analyze and study the successful experience from New York,Barcelona and Seoul on the management of public traffic.The fifth part is the suggestions on issues of public traffic in Wuhan.It will be elaborated from four aspects:firstly making scientific and rational urban planning;secondly enhancing public traffic demand management;thirdly carrying forward smart development of public traffic system;fourthly rising public participant’s awareness of public traffic safety.The last part is the conclusion.It will make an overview on and an expectation of Wuhan’ s public traffic management.
