Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is China's northern border.Since 21st Century, region economic is developing very rapid. But Autonomous Region's economic development is not balanced with the political and historical factors, traffic infrastructure is backward.Transport activity is the prerequisite and basic carrier of social and economic operation."13th Five-Year" period is an important stage of engineering construction of major transportation infrastructure. In order to achieve the overall development of social economic,we must solve the differences in economic development, and effectively guide the rapid flow of economic elements between regions, promote regional economic coordinated and balanced development. This paper analyzes the relationship between Inner Mongolia transportation infrastructure and economic growth.Firstly, summaries theory and related literature of the traffic infrastructure and the regional economy, analyzes the mechanism and influence path of traffic infrastructure and the regional economic growth.Secondly, analyzes the space pattern of Inner Mongolia transportation infrastructure and economic growth. Finally, based on theories of spatial economics and new economic geography, considers the synergistic effect of spatial factors and other factors,to analyzes the actual impact of transportation infrastructure on the economic growth in Inner Mongolia, establishes the spatial error model behind the traffic infrastructure and the regional economic growth according data of 2006-2015.The main conclusions through empirical analysis are:? Panel regression of different regions of Inner Mongolia shows, effect of several indicators of transport infrastructure on the economic growth is obvious. And the spatial error model coefficients are lower than the ordinary regression coefficient. That convinced to some extent, the ordinary econometric model overestimates the effect of each variable on the economic level.?The different aspects of transport infrastructure have different effects on economic growth. The improvement of regional transport infrastructure is conducive to economic growth in the region and has a strong spatial spillover effect.?At the same time of agglomeration economies formed in center region, the traffic infrastructure construction developed can promote the economic exchanges between different regions. As soon as possible to narrow regional differences, especially for west region, the economic development is lagging behind, the industrial structure is facing more opportunities and challenges, need positive effect of transportation infrastructure to economic production.
