Coordinating Development Relationship Between Wuhan Shipping Center And Wuhan Urban Agglomeration Econom

Shipping center is the product of highly intensive shipping development, it also is the product of the port function expanding and extending. With the continuous development of the shipping center functions, shipping center merges with its region as an economic region, shipping center not only has a huge role in promoting in their city’s economic development, but also develops the economy of its hinterland. In the same time, shipping center also relies on regional economic development. With the expansion of regional economic activity, the development of science and technology and the progress of productive forces, the improvement of collection and distribution network, shipping center and its related port and shipping industry develop more rapidly. In recent years, the state clearly puts forward the "central rise", in which, the construction of Wuhan urban agglomeration and the middle of Yangtze River of Wuhan shipping center is the important part of "central rise". December14,2007, the State Council approved Wuhan urban agglomeration became the comprehensive reform pilot area that is built as the resource-saving and environment-friendly society, Wuhan urban agglomeration had become the part of the country’s overall development strategy. In2011, the State Council listed the development of Wuhan Yangzi River Shipping Center as a national strategy, which means it is now a high time for developing the middle of Yangtze River of Wuhan shipping center and Wuhan urban agglomeration.This paper first discusses the development status of the middle of Yangtze River of Wuhan shipping center and Wuhan urban agglomeration economy, which provides the basic data and information for the later research. The second, it uses qualitative methods to discuss the coordinated development mechanism of the middle of Yangtze River of Wuhan shipping center and Wuhan urban agglomeration economy, and it uses Grey Correlation Model to analysis the development association of the middle of Yangtze River of Wuhan shipping center and Wuhan urban agglomeration economy. Next, this paper uses AHP/DEA to make the assessment coordination between the middle of Yangtze River of Wuhan shipping center and Wuhan urban agglomeration economy. Finally, it proposes the proposals and measures of coordinated economic development between the middle of Yangtze River of Wuhan shipping center and Wuhan urban agglomeration economy based on analysis of the results of the previous chapters.
