Company J is a media company providing new media advertising services to enterprise clients.With its headquarters in Shenzhen,it has set up over 20 branches all over the country.80%of its employees are sales staff.While the new media industry is booming,Company J is facing challenges such as fierce industrial competition and sales talents supply falling behind the business development demand.Sales staff training is very important for the improvement of Company J's sales team capacity and its performance.How to improve the current situation of sales training in Company J,in order to improve its management level of sales staff training?After informal discussions with some staff,the researcher learns that numerous problems have been caused as Company J has been neglecting the overall training system construction for a long time.In order to fully understand the current training management situation of Company J,the researcher uses methods including questionnaire and interview to fully collect and study the information of Company J sales team,and finds out through analysis three major problems in its sales staff training management,i.e.,ambiguous training needs,absent training management,and the lack of training effectiveness evaluation.After analyzing causes of the above problems,the researcher further proposes suitable management solutions,including:establishing organizational and system guarantee,conducting training needs analysis,implementing training management,and conducting training effectiveness evaluation.Moreover,training management should be improved in four aspects,the formulation of training objective,training plan preparation,the formulation of training course,and the training implementation method.As an emerging industry,new media industry has good developmental prospects.However,enterprises are universally lagged behind in sales staff training implementation and management.This study brings effective solutions to the improvement of sales staff training management of J Company.Moreover,relevant research findings and applications of this article,as well as possible continual improvement later,will also provide good references to other enterprises in the new media industry.
