This study was mainly researched on the issues of the transformation process of urban village, willing to investigate the formation of the urban villages, and comprehensive analysis the policy, economic, and other aspects of its processing, through describe the development situation of villages to explain the importance and necessity of the reconstruction of urban village, the main conclusions are as follows:(1) Urban village is the products of urbanization, which takes both features of city and village. The evolution of Chinese urban villages is mainly experienced by three stages, including of producing, promoting urban economic growth, restricting urban development process, formation and evolution of Chinese urban village is results by multi-factors, such as social origin, economic origin and cultural origin etc.(2) Urban villages takes obviously characteristic of ownership structure, industrial structure, population structure, land resources and living environment characterized, in order to solve its problem, city managers must take into consideration various factors. Due to the singleness of management mode, weak management and policy planning imperfect, Huaihua city still takes many problems after urban village transformation, we need to strengthen the guiding of city transformation models, building more scientific and rational planning to guarantee the smooth the transformation of urban villages.(3) In order to improve the transformation of urban villages, take its more scientific and reasonable, it is necessary to bring in the third party supervision system, establishing of technical indicators and reconstruction standard of urban village, which can providing objective evidences of its management(4) Urban village renovation is a large, complex project, in order to take the processing successful, we must work under the local conditions, establishing best transformation policy and scientific embodiment, which is also the key point to ensure the smooth transformation of urban villages.
