The Research On The Models And Strategies In The Transformation Of The Urban Village

Urban village phenomenon exists in almost all major cities on different degreeswidespread in the country at present. It forms a complex urban-rural dual structure inurban area and generated many contradictions in economy, society, space, environmentand landscape. It has become a national puzzle to the urban development and caused theextensive concern and attention of the government and the society. As an epitome of thedisharmonious phenomenon with urban development the transformation model of theurban village has its advantages and disadvantages. Urban village transformation shouldbe adapted to local conditions and select the appropriate time. It has become an urgentrequirement to make practical transformation goals and to choose the appropriatetransformation model for healthy and harmonious city development in our country.Based on the above background, this paper takes the research of urban villagetransformation model and strategy as the major work and selects the case of a urbanvillage in Qingdao as a real analysis. From the connotation and the characteristic ofurban village, this paper analyzes the reason for the formation of urban villages as wellas the current conditions. Based on summarizing the problems facing in urban villagetransformation, this paper points out the necessity of urban village transformation.Through the analysis of the interests of the subject related of urban villagetransformation,the paper establishes the strategy analysis model combining with theactual situation, and gets four main types of transformation model. They aregovernment-led transformation model, the villages autonomous transformationmodel, semi-market co-operative transformation model and market transformationmodel, and then analyze and compare with the pros and cons of these four models.Through the research of an instance of a urban village in Qingdao, the paper triesto choose the transformation model of this urban village by using the analytic hierarchyprocess, verify the rationality of transformation model in practice, and put forwardsuggestions of transformation model for this urban village in actual operation, finallyprovide reference for urban villages transformation in the future.
