The Impact Of Structure Change On The Growth Of Service Industry And Its Contribution In Zhejiang Province

Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has maintained rapid growth for more than 30 years,and achieved remarkable achievements.After the long-term high-speed economic growth,China's economy emerges some new features.Especially in recent years,China's economic growth has slowed down.Modern production services and life service industry have experienced rapid growth,while some industries have had the problems of serious overcapacity.The development environment of different industries exists huge differences,China urgently needs to adjust the industrial structure.The adjustment of industrial structure is not only the structure adjustment of the three industries,but also the adjustment of the internal structure of the industry.With the increasing proportion of the service industry in the national economy,the service industry has become a research hotspot.The change of service structure and the growth of service industry are two important fields of service industry research.Many scholars have done much research on these two fields,but there is little research on the relationship between them.At the same time,structural economics hold that structure changes will produce structural dividend,and structural dividend mainly refers to promoting effect of factors structural change on the economic growth.The existing structural dividend research focused on the analysis of the national economy,then if there exist structural dividend among the structural changes in the service industry?How much is the structural dividend contributing to the growth of the service sector?How should structural dividend be measured?This paper chooses Zhejiang's service industry as the object of the study,and studies the situation of service industry,between service industry structural change and output growth,and the measurement of structural dividend.This paper mainly analyzes the development of Zhejiang's service industry from the following three aspects:Firstly,from aspects of the total output of service industry in Zhejiang Province,the status of the internal structure of services and the development trend of the service industry in Zhejiang Province,this paper compares Zhejiang's service industry with foreign countries'.And makes a clear reflection of the service industry situation of Zhejiang Province through the method of descriptive statistics.Secondly,based on the theory of structural change of service industry,this paper constructs the service industry structure optimization index,namely the advanced index of service industry structure.The cointegration test,the Granger causality test are used to analyze the relationship between the structure of service industry in Zhejiang province and the output growth of service industry in Zhejiang province..Finally,present research focuses on the study of the contribution of industrial structure to economic growth.However,there is no good method to estimate the contribution of industrial structure to economic growth.Based on the production function model,this paper puts forward a new method to measure the contribution of structural change to output growth.Based on the production function model,this paper constructs a double-effect production function model creatively,which objectively reflects the technical level of the service industry,output elasticity of factors and industry heterogeneity.Based on the double-effect production function model,this paper proposes a new method to calculate the contribution of services structure change to service output growth.The output growth is decomposed into the growth effects of intension growth,epitaxial growth and structural change.Through the empirical analysis,it found that the internal structure change of service industry in Zhejiang Province has a significant effect on the output of service industry.
