Early enterprise established in many forms,with friends to invest in the establishment,with like-minded people with the establishment,as well as family members to work together to establish,in this,the majority of family business in the form.With the development of China’s economy,the competitiveness and status of family enterprises have become higher and higher,as if has become the main force of China’s economic growth.After the reform and opening up,a large number of family business,today,more than 30 years of development,to the second or third generation to take over the time.The intergenerational transmission of family business is not a simple process,because the inheritance process directly affects the enterprise’s position and competitiveness in the market and affects the follow-up development of the enterprise.By reviewing the literature,at present,there are many literatures about family business in academic circles,but most of the research is about the family business founder of the leadership issues and family members of the governance structure of the problem,family business on the inheritance process is still relatively small,this provides an opportunity for the study of this paper.Therefore,the study of this issue is the family business model of intergenerational transmission of choice,hoping to family business model of choice to provide a theoretical basis.For the only child family business,an issue that is no doubt about the intergenerational transmission is the enterprise passed the one-child.However,in the process of inheritance,how to maintain the stability of enterprises and the value added of family assets is a very serious problem.Selection of "inherited his father"or "professional managers",this is not important;the important is China’s one-child family enterprise how to construct new collective competence in the hands of the second generation.Based on these considerations,with a view to help readers,the author has carried on the elaboration and the analysis on related issues.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,mainly introduces the background of this study and the significance of this study.The second part is the literature review.It mainly introduces domestic and foreign research status of family business intergenerational succession,the influence of family inheritance of one-child family on the enterprise,the Chinese family business heritage status and the two main inheritance model(internal inheritance-inheritance and external inheritance-professional managers).The third part is the research design and data collection.This paper is a single case study.The data is from the combination of primary data and secondary data.The primary data are from the interviews,second-hand information is from the company’s internal paper-related information.The fourth part is the case analysis,through the analysis of the inheritance process of SY Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.,the experience is summed up.In addition,by comparison with the intergenerational inheritance process of American and European one-child family enterprises,the difference reason is analyzed.The fifth part is the conclusion and prospect of this paper.The conclusion of this paper is,first,in the one-child policy environment,correctly grasp the rule of the influence of this policy on the only child in the family business,the analysis of whether the incumbent can fully trust the successor and so on,to grasp the effect of these factors on the intergenerational inheritance of family business,there is a very important and positive significance to the intergenerational transmission of family business.Secondly,for the inheritance of the only child family business,two modes are very good inheritance scheme,what is different is that the family business is suitable for what kind of intergenerational inheritance model.The selection criteria are implemented after the mode,whether it is conducive to the family business or family assets to continue to move forward,whether it is conducive to the family business or the continuous cultivation of service brands,whether it is conducive to the traditional family enterprise problem solving and the intensive use of various resources.This paper holds that in future studies,scholars can study the following two aspects:(1)it can carry out more normative integration research and empirical research on the intergenerational inheritance.(2)It can be concerned about the impact of national macro-policy on intergenerational transmission.
