| With the comparatively rapid development of industrial and commercial economy within ten years of late Qing dynasty,strength of gentry merchants is on the increase.Ministry of Commerce of Qing government issues "Brief chapter of chamber of commerce" in Jan.1904,inside which contains provision that urges establishment of chamber of commerce5thus chamber of commerce is nation-widely booming.Strength of Su Zhou merchants in modern Chinese history is comparatively tremendous on the basis of Su Zhou's history and geographic position.Su Zhou merchant's sports group was founded in 1906 and was automatically dismissed in 1936,spanning Qing dynasty,Beijing government and Nanjing government.Configuration of Su Zhou Shang Tuan experiences Su Zhou merchant's sports group,coalition of commercial group,and Su Zhou Shang Tuan.Due to its special geographic position,Su Zhou Shang Tuan directly faces 1911 revolution,second revolution,Hu Guo movement,1924 Jiang Zhe War,4.12coup,1.28 incident.But among all the martial occurrences,Su Zhou commercially martial group is not undermined by the unrest.What's more,its existence and development is bestowed by an aura of being strengthened.Su Zhou Shang Tuan's existing span exceeds major urban merchant's martial groups.The paper sheds light on the whole process of Su Zhou Shang Tuan's existence and development through diachronically analysis.Against different backgrounds of nation and society,Su Zhou Shang Tuan employs various strategies to engage in its existence and development,which specifically includes expansion of group in terms of recruitment of stuff,diverse methods of fund-raising and polish of arms force,and also the construction of soft power embodied in rigid award-punishment system and firm implementation of the rules.At the same time,neutral attitude towards vehement occurrence enables Su Zhou Shang Tuan to sidestep suffering from the mentioned occurrence,which furthur ensures Su Zhou Shang Tuan's existence and development in different times. |
