The Analysis And Research On The Management Efficiency Of Farmers' Professional Cooperatives In Fujian Province

Since the law of peasantry special cooperation promulgated in 2007,the professional cooperatives in China have been developed rapidly,the number of co-operatives and the members of the co-operatives gradually increase,and the scale of co-operatives gradually escalated.Farmers'professional cooperatives play an important role not only in promoting agricultural development,raising farmers' incomes and promoting rural prosperity.But also in raising awareness of farmers' autonomous participation and accelerating the pace of poverty eradication[1].However,at the moment,the benefit level of farmers' professional cooperatives and the business efficiency in different regions of our province is uneven.Since farmers' professional cooperatives face some difficulties and problems in development process.The keynote and difficulty of this paper is how to evaluating the management efficiency,exploring the deficiencies in their development,and taking targeted measures to promote the development of farmers' professional cooperatives.The theoretical basis of the text is the theory of cooperative theory,economic efficiency theory and transaction cost theory,establishes the evaluation index system based on the official data of farmers' professional cooperatives in Fujian province,and uses DEA model to measure the operational efficiency of farmers' professional cooperatives.Discussing the factors which influencing the operational efficiency of farmers'professional cooperatives,through empirical analysis providing beneficial policy suggestions and improvement measures to promoting the development of farmers' professional cooperatives in Fujian province.Hoping can providing scientific reference for the development of farmers'professional cooperatives in Fujian province and even in china this paper.The paper focuses on the following seven parts:the first part is the introduction,including research background,research purpose and significance,research program and the main research results and status of farmers' professional cooperatives at home and abroad.The second part is the definition of related concepts and the theoretical basis of this paper,including the concept definition and distinction of cooperatives and farmers' professional cooperatives,cooperative theory,economic efficiency theory and transaction cost theory.The third part is the present situation of the development of agricultural industrialization in Fujian province and the present situation and characteristics of farmers'professional cooperatives,mainly using the official authoritative statistics to analyzing the present situation and main problems of the development of farmers' specialty cooperatives in Fujian.The fourth part is the construction of the management efficiency evaluation index system of farmers' professional cooperative,namely the elaboration and construction of DEA model.The fifth part is the empirical study of the operational efficiency of Fujian farmers' professional cooperatives,which the main part of this paper,taking the descriptive statistical analysis of sample data,and then calculate the comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency through the operation of deap2.1.The sixth part is the further normative comparative analysis of DEA results,classified analysis according to different regions,different industry types,different scale and the four aspects of government support.The seventh part is the main conclusion of the study,the countermeasures and suggestions for the further development of farmers cooperatives in Fujian province.
