The Research On Issues Of Configration Management For Information System Engineering Construction Of Company J

Configuration Management is kind of scientific and efficient managemet method for information system development,which is the core of supporting activity of software quality system.It plays an important role of enhancing team cooperation,improving the effieciency and ensuring the quality of system development.Although the importance of configuration management has been realized by some companies,lack of appropriate constructional methods,it has many problems as result in the reality.Therefore,it is the prioty for software development organizations to solve that how to scientifically implement configuration management and to realize the informatization of software development.This thesis analyzes configuration management problems and the reasons for Company J during the construction period of information system based on the theory of configuration management stated in it.As guided by configuration management goal and principles,considering the actual situation of Compnay J,it presents the configuration management scheme on the basis of the protection of configuraiton management organization,driving of the procedure,the vector of the tools,as well as the key role of the activities.Besides,the thesis demonstrates the feasibility of the scheme in the three ways of the theory,implementation condition and cost.Meanwhile,it presents the safeguard measures to implement the scheme.The thesis is aimed to solve the problems of configuration management of Company J during the information system construction,which is integrated by both theory and reality to propose the configuration management scheme for information system engineering of Company J.As the scheme implemented in Company J,we hope to realize the informatization and automation of software development.The previous literatures are more likey to focus on a certain area of configuration management theory or implementation methods based on activities,which theoretical is very strong and hard to understand.The thesis integrates the organzation,procedure,tools and activities of configuration management to make it standardized,procedure,and systematized,which helps to understand and apply.The study of the thesis does not rely on a certain configuration management tool,but provides a construction thought and methods,which is provided to enterprises for reference to set up configuration management system.
