Study On The Quality Improvement Of Software R&D Project For Small Team

The traditional waterfall development model is usually adopted in software project management, which is more applicable for stable demand or less changeable situation. With the rapid change of the popularity of the Internet and the needs of the internet user, the requirements of Internet software are is increasing. The user needs have frequently changed which lead to the frequently updated content of product and make the Internet software development different from the traditional software development. Under this background, the project management of Internet software development must make rapid response to the market, which is in order to speed the delivery and maintain high quality of the product. The organization structure and development process should be changed with the Internet software development.This paper firstly describes the relevant theoretical knowledge of project management, software engineering and quality management, then starts research work at the company’s R&D project and it points out the necessity and urgency to improve the project quality by the analysis of the project management mode and the background of project; then it raises and concludes the typical issues of the project by a detailed investigation and analysis of the project schedule management and project quality management; after this, it gives the solution aiming at the development process management, project quality control and project management platform in detail. In the management of development process, according to the small team, the scrum process model of agile project management is used by simplifying the structure of team and reducing internal wasted cost and improving the efficiency of operation. In the aspect of quality control, it sets up the check points on the stages of project development process including the requirement analysis, system design, system implementation and system test in order to avoid implementation problems and reduce the influence on the project’s schedule by the change of the project requirements. In project management, the R&D project integrated management platform provides the functions such as the project schedule management, software defect management and automated testing platform, which are widely used to the project management. Comparing the indexes before and after this research, it shows the efficiency of the project and the quality of the project are improved remarkably. Finally, it lays a solid foundation of the company for the products to the market and long-term technical reserves.In this paper, the new project quality management by using the method of combination of theory and practice has improved software development work flow on a small team successfully. It applies the professional management software, management method and software engineering to the agile software development. The research of this paper has practical reference value to the Internet software development enterprise and organizational referred to the improvement of the project quality management.
