The definition of commercial bank's financial products is maintaining and increasing the value of investors' assets by combining several kinds of financial instruments and financial knowledge with information technology. It is the significant component of the financial products market.With the booming of the financial products market, there come many kinds of financial products. Diversification and innovation has become the new feature of the financial product market both inboard and aboard. As time goes by, with the increasing of individual's disposable income, individual wealth had been cumulating. Thus,investors are not satisfied with low yields any more. Therefore, commercial banks in China are strengthening the level of innovation and new financial products seem emerge in an endless stream. RMB financial products has become the priority of the development,financial products has revealed the trend of short duration and high yields.Financial products with the code name- "AMZYJZT",which is launched by Bank of China (BOC) has become the special financial products of BOC. With the non capitalguaranteed and float earnings,its risk level is rated at "level 2(low or middle risk)".Furthermore, it has three subsidiary lines which object to different kinds of investors.This article will assess the strength and weakness of "AMZYJZT" and make recommendation for product's improvement considering foreign bank's development experience. This article contains following chapters:Chapter one is about introducing the background and research signification of this article. Chapter two is about introducing the existing financial products at BOC. In this chapter, the non-guaranteed and float earning financial product will be overviewed by summarizing the concept, features and classification of financial products. Chapter three will assess the financial product's instruction,features and sales performance.With the great brand effect of BOC and its strong reliability, security and stability,the product attracts many investors. Furthermore, BOC has excellent team and advance management and technology system for its financial product.There are also several extend opportunities, such as brand recognition, booming financial product market, polity support, great market potential and IT support. Investors fell over each other to buy it on every Tuesday. All of these consist of the internal strength of this product.However, its weakness comes from other products' attack, insufficient sales,insufficient investment in R&D and imperfection saving outlets of BOC. External threat due to sales on a commission basis include lacking upgrade and control of product,incomplete law systems and poor policy support makes the homogeneous competition between banks. Other products' threats make competition pressure higher. Take the perspective of risk control, there are default risk, market risk, liquid risk and management risk revealed in the product instruction as well as other issue like oversimplified product instruction, imprecise team construction and marketing tactics, all services following the same pattern,poor cooperation between banks and enterprises,homogenization of products and low value added of products.After combining strength and weakness analysis with the risk issues analysis,chapter four presents an improving plan for this financial product. In the last chapter, all the analysis will be summarized.Condition of the financial product has been assessed in this article, taking into account the other examples inboard and aboard. There comes an improvement plan which may be useful for the product's notability and volume and it will also be used for other financial products.
