With the change of the times,innovation has become an indispensable feature of the current social development.In the increasingly fierce competition,company that lack of innovation will lose vitality and characteristics,then it is difficult for the company to capture the customer's point of interest and real needs,and thus lost market share.As to the hotel of service industry,innovation is playing an irreplaceable role,As a customer oriented enterprises,hotel cannot improve without the engagement of customer.Customer is in the process of increasingly mature and rational with the demand tends to diversified development,hotel must be inseparable from strengthening service innovation to improve the growth of the hotel.In the context of the development of today's times,customer and the hotel interact with each other,hotel must involve customer in the process of open service innovation practice to gain a competitive advantage,then to promote hotel growth.In the field of innovation research,scholars focused on open innovation and service innovation,but less on open service innovation,especially on open service innovation in the hotel industry.In addition,the research of innovation usually focused on the qualitative research and case studies of the concept,but lack use empirical research method.Based on the theory of open service innovation,this paper focuses on the relationship between innovation climate,customer engagement and hotel growth.In the measure of the growth dimension of the hotel,the comprehensive measurement system consists of financial indicators,market indicators and employee innovation behaviors is established by overcoming the shortcomings of single performance indicators in previous studies.Based on the research of the above,this paper builds the research model which presents the relationship of innovation climate,customer engagement and the hotel growth.The research data were obtained through the questionnaire survey,the descriptive statistical analysis and reliability test of the questionnaire data were carried out by using SPSS,the confirmation factor analysis and path analysis were carried out using AMOS.Meanwhile,the Sobel test is used to test the intermediary role of customer engagement between the innovation climate and hotel growth(financial indicators,market indicators,employee innovation behavior).The results show that under the guidance of open service innovation theory,the hotel should build an atmosphere of innovation for customers to participate in and hotel growth,and put customers and employees into their own open service innovation system to build competitive advantage and promote hotel growth actively.The research results of this paper are basically the same as those of the previous research,which further enriches the research contents of the hotel's open service innovation field and beneficial to the practical of service innovation.
