With the diversity and complexity of consumption behavior,After entering the consumer society,changing the consumption space by consumption patterns,which has made some disciplines such as city geography,city sociology,economics become one of the focus of disciplinary study.We used POI data,field interviews,questionnaires and other means to obtain relevant information of Hohhot.Based on the region within Second Ring Road in Hohhot,this paper demonstrated the space distribution features,consumer behavior and spatial analysis,using Kernel density(Kernel),hot spot analysis,function and index.This article explained the analysis of the factors influencing the residents' consumption behavior,and the main results are as follows.(1)The agglomeration features of consumption of different industries in the range of 1.5 ~ 2 km scale illustrated the spatial scale of location selection of different industries in Hohhot.It showed a trend,increasing first and then decreasing,of the spatial distribution structure in consumer place,and also showed a distance from peaks to another as different location choice.According to density analysis of spatial distribution along the overall business center,it showed that eastern area has a large density while western has a small density,but the distribution of the spatial distribution of different industries has its own unique characteristics.From spatial autocorrelation index analysis,industry cluster on the overall characteristics of space,in addition to catering,hotel industry failing significance level,other industries were in cluster distribution at 1% significance level.From Hohhot industries' hot spot analysis,spatial distribution and quantity of every industry existed differences.(2)The questionnaire survey and interviews with residents helped usgained the spatial characteristics and travel characteristics of residents in Hohhot.In the industry of catering,hotel industry,financial services and community services,people gave priority to simple travel consumption,When choosing entertainment and business,they were more inclined to low-level consumer goods on the way to work.,on the whole,the travel time that residents went to consumption were increasing.Different industries travel consumption time ordered from low to high followed by community services,finance,entertainment,catering,hotel industry,business,which formed three different types of travel industry space.(3)The study analyzes factors affecting the spatial characteristics of consumer behavior which considered properties of personal social economic,living space and consumption place.It has shown that factors such as Gender,age,income that have direct impact on consumer behavior,while education,occupation and family life cycle have indirect influence.Also,traffic,business circle and population distribution affects the choices of consumer place location.
