The core function of human resource management is performance management,but performance appraisal is the central link of performance management.The performance appraisal of employee in enterprise is an important part of enterprise performance appraisal system,which plays an important role on inspiring employee and enhancing their ability and performance.Y Medicine Company Ltd(YMCL),which was established in 1999,is one of the high-technology enterprises,whose main business is to study,development,product and sell medicine and health products.The sales network of YMCL is all over 29 provinces.To make sure the fulfillment of the sale goal,how to design a perfect performance appraisal system in normal management deserves more attention.Firstly,this paper gives information of the company structure of the salesmen's wage,job content and responsibility.Secondly,this paper diagnoses the current performance appraisal system based on questionnaire survey,and point out the problems existed in the principles,circle,method and procedure of performance appraisal.And the paper analyses the causes of resulting in these problems deeply.Hereby,combining by the theory of performance appraisal,strategy and goal of the company,this paper re-designs the performance appraisal system in the aspects of index system,weight of indexes,the procedure ect.At last,this paper analyses and evaluates the implementation effect of performance appraisal system of YMCL by an example.To improve the performance of sale management and ensure accomplishing of the company's long-term development objectives,this paper research and optimizes the current performance appraisal system,and supplies more scientific appraisal methods of sales performance for YMCL,which can be foundation of wage adjustment,promotion,reward and post transfer.
