The Research For The Development Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Liaoning

Manufacturing which possesses dominant position in the national economy is the basis of a strong economy.Equipment-manufacturing industry is the foundation and core of manufacturing,which determines the degree of a country’s independent innovation.After experiencing development in the past 50 years,equipment-manufacturing industry in Liaoning has formed a more comprehensive industrial supporting system,but the scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation leaded to the increased competition between manufacturing enterprises and shortening of manufacturing products cycle.In addition,the labor division in the industry was increasingly refined,which resulted the cross-regional,cross-industry,cross-enterprise cooperation,and also leaded to the emergence of alliance such as network alliance organizations.Thus equipment manufacturers suffered from more and more challenges,and it was difficult to achieve sustainable development by only relying on their own internal closed mode.In order to address such condition,manufacturing enterprises have to develop through the open mode,such as interacting with the external production services and other institutions.However,the productive services industry is an emerging industry.According to its development status in Liaoning,the degree of interaction with the equipment manufacturing industry still remains to be determined.Moreover,in order to promote the development of equipment manufacturing industry,the factors impacting on production efficiency also need to be further explored.In order to provide empirical evidence for the existing research and put forward appropriate recommendations for policy operation,this paper will base on industry interaction perspective to research the integration condition of equipment manufacturing and production service industry,and research the factors influencing the production efficiency of equipment manufacturing.The main contents of this paper include three aspects: firstly,it will introduce and review the research status of domestic and abroad scholars,and then elaborate the integration mechanism of equipment manufacturing and production service industry;secondly,it will have a deep analysis on the current situation of these two major industries in Liaoning by the model of the traditional and improved investment;thirdly,it will utilize the panel data concerning Liaoning’s equipment manufacturing industry to carry out multiple regression on the production service industry FDI,technical level,information level,institutional factors and so on,thereby validating the influence of these factors on the efficiency of equipment manufacturing industry.
