Research On The Interactive Development Of China's Productive Service Industry And Manufacturing Industry

At present,the global value chain division characterized by fragmentary and intermediate product production has become the main form of the current global economic operation.As a high-end factor input of manufacturing industry,producer services are closely connected with each sector of manufacturing industry through the embedding of the upstream and the downstream links.In the process of the separation and reorganization of manufacturing production chain in the global scope,it is the demand side of producer services,which cannot be separated from the input of service in all aspects.The demand direction of manufacturing industry affects the development direction of producer services to some extent.Through theoretical and empirical analysis,this paper studies the interactive development relationship between producer services and manufacturing industry.First,this paper defines the related concepts of producer services and manufacturing,and expounds the internal mechanism of interaction.Secondly,to calculate the direct consumption coefficient,total consumption coefficient,influence coefficient and inductance coefficient,based on the world input-output table in 2014,it is concluded that the input of China's manufacturing industry to producer services is higher than that of producer services in manufacturing industry,and the manufacturing industry occupies a driving and supporting position in international trade.Next,to estimate the manufacturing and producer services status in global value chain among 44 countries around the world in 2000-2014,and to use panel VAR model analyzes the dynamic relationship.The study shows that the improvement of the productive service industry status can effectively improve the global value chain status of manufacturing industry.In the current period,the positive effect was great,but it is not persistent.In the long time,the global value chain of service industry on the upgrading of the manufacturing value chain is gradually increasing.Then,the interaction relationship between productive service industry and manufacturing industry is explored.I verified the influence degree of global value chain participation on manufacturing upgrading and the influence degree of global value chain participation of manufacturing industry on the upgrading of productive service respectively,and found the trend of Chinese industry is the same as that of the global.The participation of producer services in the global value chain can effectively improve the global value chain status of manufacturing industry.Both upstream and downstream producer services have played an active role in upgrading the global value chain of manufacturing industry.However,the promotion of manufacturing engagement in the global value chain division of productive services is related to the technical level of manufacturing sector,the value added value of global value chain in the high-tech manufacturing sector promotes the global value chain status of producer services,low-tech manufacturing sector participation in the global value chain has worsened the role of China's productivity service,and it's not clear that the global value of the GVCs in the average manufacturing sector for the global value chain of productivity services.Finally,according to the result of empirical analysis and put forward corresponding countermeasure,such as improve the global value chain of producer services engagement,optimization of capital structure,manufacturing initiative through foreign direct investment or embedded high value-added production and transnational merger and acquisition from participation in the global value chain to build the China value chain,to upgrade the global value chain of China's manufacturing industry.
