At present,the rural population accounts for more than half of the total population of our country.The "three rural issues" are still a fundamental problem in the overall situation of China's economic construction.Farmers as a society in a large vulnerable groups,which enjoy the low level of welfare.Improve the level of farmer welfare is the ultimate goal of China's new rural construction,but also a measure of China's modernization process of a scale.Farmers' welfare is affected by a variety of factors,income gap and social network can not be ignored in two aspects.The serious inequality of income in rural areas of our country is an undeniable real problem.Our society is in a period of rapid change,and the influence of social network on farmers' welfare can not be underestimated.This paper first introduces the overall framework and research ideas of the research,defines the concept of social capital,income gap and the corresponding measure according to the purpose of research,and constructs the index of individual welfare level according to the feasible ability method of Amartya Sen And then use the orderly Probit model to analyze the social network,the income gap and the interaction between the two on the farmer's welfare and explore the interaction between the three,based on the 586 questionnaires in southern Shaanxi in 2015 Mechanism,and finally the regression model of the endogeneity,robustness of the test analysis to ensure the reliability of the model regression results.According to the empirical research results,this paper draws the following main conclusions:(1)The income gap of rural residents in southern Shaanxi is relatively large.In the sample villages,the GINI coefficients of the 18 villages ranged from 0.3 to 0.4,accounting for 33.3% of the total,and the GINI coefficient of the nine villages was higher than the international common alert value of 0.4,accounting for 16.7% of the total number of villages.(2)The level of family welfare of farmers in southern Shaanxi is not high,and nearly half of the respondents believe that their family welfare level is at a moderate level,which is consistent with the geographical position,natural environment,transportation,economy and culture of southern Shaanxi the situation,the region's rural residents living conditions to be further improved.(3)The income gap has a negative impact on the welfare of farmers.This paper uses the Gini coefficient at the village level to characterize the income gap variable,and the ratio of the income of the 90 th percentile villagers to the 10 th percentile villagers' income(P90 / P10)after the income of the villagers from small to large The GINI coefficient of the alternative village is robust to the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable.The control variables are robust before and after the model is added to the model.(4)Social networks have a positive impact on farmer welfare,and can mitigate the negative effects of income disparity on farmers.On the one hand,the social network so that farmers through the exchanges with relatives and friends to obtain emotional support and companionship,to bring farmers a sense of psychological satisfaction.On the other hand,the social network can connect people of different strata and social backgrounds to realize the exchange and sharing of information and resources,increase the employment and investment of farmers,so as to improve the income and welfare of farmers.In addition,when the farmers family crisis,the social network can provide some help for farmers to improve their welfare level.Based on the 586 questionnaires in southern Shaanxi Province in 2015,this paper constructs an index system to measure the individual welfare level of households according to the feasible ability method of Amartya Sen,and uses the ordered Probit model to analyze the social network,income gap and two the impact of the interaction on the welfare of farmers and explore the interaction between the three mechanisms.The empirical results show that the income gap has a negative impact on the welfare of farmers,the social network has a positive effect on the farmers' welfare,and can alleviate the negative effects of the income gap to the farmers.In addition,the cadre status,educational level,Skills can improve the welfare of farmers,while the family head of the family for women,families have children and children with chronic diseases will reduce the level of farmer welfare.Finally,this paper puts forward the corresponding policy suggestions according to the research results.Finally,this paper puts forward the corresponding policy suggestions according to the research conclusion.
