Study On The Effect Of Rural Household Concurrent Business On Farmers' Safety Production Behavior

With the rapid development of our country's economy,people's material needs are no longer confined to the pursuit of quantity,but have begun to change in the direction of pursuing quality,focusing on agricultural products that affect everyone's daily life,and food safety.It is widely concerned in the current society.The Central No.1 document in2017 also emphasized the requirements for improving quality and efficiency of agriculture.Therefore,how to improve the quality of agricultural products and ensure the safe supply of agricultural products are worth studying.Trace back to the origin of agricultural production,farmers are the first producers of production and management of agricultural products.From cultivated land,buy seedlings,spread drugs,fertilize and picking,each link is closely related to the quality of agricultural products.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the agricultural production of farmers.Whether the behavior in the business process meets the safety standards.It is worth noting that the price of input elements that are consistent with safe production of agricultural products is generally higher than that of ordinary agricultural products.This requires that households have more household funds to use for this cost,and the main reason for the difference in household income of farmers is Their employment structure is different.With the development of the market economy and the advancement of urbanization,many rural laborers have switched to non-agricultural sectors,which may lead to a reduction in farmers' reliance on agricultural production,and they are reluctant to invest too much effort in tilling the land and even ensuring the quality of agricultural products.On the contrary,migrant workers may also increase the income of peasant households,which in turn will increase the capital investment of peasant households in the production process.These two types of roles will directly affect the production behavior of peasant households.Therefore,the question to be explored in the paper is: What are the factors affecting the safe production behavior of growers in the 12 counties in Sichuan Province? What effect does the farmer's non-agricultural employment association have on its safe production behavior? What is the mechanism of action that exists in this influence?In order to answer these questions and consider the characteristics of topography andlandforms,whether it is a large agricultural county,etc.,12 sample counties with differences are selected.From July to October 2017,individual households and households,agricultural production and operation status,etc.are carried out to conduct household surveys.384 questionnaires were obtained,and 376 valid questionnaires.This article collects and collates the survey data and conducts empirical analysis.First,based on the Ordered Probit,it examines the influence of farmer households concurrently on the safe pesticide application behavior of the growers.Based on the Probit model,it examines the farmers' occupational safety and fertilizer practices and safety for growers.Secondly,based on the multiple linear regression model,it is discussed whether the mechanism of peasant households concurrently affecting the safe production behavior of growers is valid.The empirical results show that:(1)Peasant household part-time job is unfavorable for growers to use pesticides and fertilization that meet safety standards,but it is beneficial to growers to adopt safe pest prevention and control practices;(2)In terms of the mechanism of action,the concurrent employment of peasant households Both investment and investment effects have played an effective role.On the one hand,the former has reduced the dependence of growers on agriculture and the income of planting households on the farming industry.On the other hand,the latter has increased agricultural productive inputs;(3)Planting Household endowments,business environment,and transaction characteristics all affect the safe production behavior of growers to a certain extent.Suggestions for this are as follows:(1)Measures to support the safe production of agricultural products should be formulated in different circumstances;(2)Improve the employment market in rural areas and promote investment effects to play a role;(3)Accelerate the construction of training system and improve the safety production acceptance of farmers(4)Optimize the sales channels of safe agricultural products and protect the income of growers;(5)Improve the relevant price formation mechanism and promote the supply of safe agricultural products.
