Study On The Effects Of Rural Tourism On The Well-being Of Rural Communities And Farmers

The tourist destination impact study is an important content in the research of tourism geography.The development of rural tourism brings significant economic,environmental and social effects to the tourism destination,and Farmers in the local community are the undertaker of their development,and also the biggest beneficiary.How to measure the impact of the rural tourism development on the community residents and the changes in the level of family well-being,To improve the level of community residents' well-being is an important problem to be solved in the sustainable development of rural tourism.This paper selects Taiping rural tourism area in the north of Qinling Mountains,Shaanxi and Mawei Yi folk cultural garden of two different types of rural tourism development as the research object.Based on the field survey data and semi-structured interview data,and the two dimensions of objective and subjective evaluation index system is established to quantitatively measure the well-being of the residents of the tourism community in the context of different development.And then his paper analyzes the well-being characteristics of different types of farmers,and identifies the factors that affect the level of well-being.Research shows that:(1)Due to the geographical conditions,resource endowments,differences in socio-economic development,different tourism development models have been formed.Under the background of tourism development,due to different development patterns and community residents to participate in tourism,the specific impact of the tourism community has a greater difference,these differences are reflected in the changes in the level of income and the income of the residents,the changes of the residents' professional structure,the change of the ideology and the subjective perception of the residents in the community.(2)Based on the two dimensions of subjective and objective design of the 20 sub indicators to build the index system of farmers' well-being,the quantitative evaluation of the well-being of rural tourism community in the context of tourism development.Results show:?The level of family well-being of rural households in the two research areas was higher,but there was a significant difference in the degree of concentration.? After the development of tourism,the overall level of family well-being of farmers has increased,but the tourism development time is shorter,the change of the level of family well-being is more significant.? Under different development background,different types of households have different levels of family well-being.The length of the family well-being level of the rural residents in the tourism development time is nonlinear.The level of family well-being of the residents of the tourism development is more mature with the distance away from the scenic spots.(3)According to the interview and qualitative and quantitative analysis methods,the paper analyzes the factors that influence the level of farmers' well-being.Results show:?The difference of residents' well-being level is the result of internal factors and external factors.There are significant differences in the level of community residents' participation in the tourism industry,and the impact of each factor on the level of family well-being of the community residents.? As for the tourism management households,there is a strong correlation between the three characteristics of the year of tourism management and the operating area,the training and the community help.? For the tourism service farmers,the three factors,such as the health status of the family members,the number of people engaged in tourism services,the degree of difficulty of the loan,have a significant impact on the level of family well-being of rural households.Based on the above conclusions,suggestions and countermeasures are put forward to improve the well-being of rural households in the study area,which is of great significance to the sustainable development of tourism and the improvement of the well-being of the community residents.
