Research On The Risks And Countermeasures Of Transnational Management Of Chinese Resource-based Enterprises

Under the background of economic globalization,China economy is developing sustainably and rapidly,so the demand for resources is larger and larger,however,China is a country short of resources relatively.The contradiction between resources supply and demand has become increasingly prominent,therefore,Chinese resources companies implement the strategy---"going out",and actively develop transnational business activities,in order to use the overseas resources better to ensure the sustainable development of our economy.With opening of the deepening reform and promoting the strategy of “The Belt and Road”,there will be more and more resource-based enterprises which are going out to intensely compete for the international resources.It is an urgent problem to be solved that we should deeply study and judge the risks that resources enterprises are taking and formulate their policies when facing the complicated and easily-changing international economic environment.In this paper,energy resources and mineral resources enterprises are the examples with collection and analysis of their recent relative data.After I fully learned the basic information of their foreign direct investment and cross-border mergers and acquisitions,researched the risks faced by them and analyzed the reasons,I put forward the specific and feasible solution.In addition to the introduction part,the paper is divided into four parts:The first part is on the theoretical foundation and practical significance of multinational operation of Chinese resources enterprises.In the second part,I analyzed the relative data from the foreign direct investment and cross-border mergers and acquisitions of Chinese resources enterprises,systematically summed up the characteristics of their multinational operation,and deeply stated their basic situation.The third part is to summarize and analyze the main risks that they are facing which are from the host countries,the third parties' political risks,the assessment by themselves,financing risks and the risks of multicultural management.With these risks,I deeply analyzed the reasons mainly about the situation of host countries politics,home financial policy system and the culture of enterprises operation and management.In the fourth part,from the perspective of risk aversion,I put forward some solutions about the multinational operation of Chinese resources enterprises,including three parts: to strengthen the early warning about the risks from the host countries politics;to reinforce policy supports from the governments;to intensify multicultural operation and management.
