Research On Agricultural Science And Technology Information Service Based On Farmers' Demand

With the rapid development of the information society,the Internet in all areas have played an important role." Internet plus" has become the tendency today.Information technology for economic and social development has a pivotal effect.Agriculture,as a primary industry,is the basis that a country develop rapidly.The most important part of agricultural modernization is the agricultural information.The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has attached great importance to the informationization of agriculture.The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has made a strategic plan to promote the simultaneous development of industrialization,informationization,urbanization and agricultural modernization.The central document has continuously concerned to agriculture Information construction for 12 years.The problem is that agricultural information service system is lacking and the information dissemination channels is too simple.The realization of agricultural information technology usually need to rely on the terminal computer and Internet technology,which requires a sound infrastructure and professional information services personnel.China do not satisfy these requirements so that result in the "last mile" problem,which restrict the process of agricultural information.This study uses field investigation method and from the perspective of farmers through the questionnaire survey to interview 167 farmers the status about agricultural science and technology information demands of these farmers in Dawa,Panjin,Liaoning.Firstly,according to the situation of farmers receiving agricultural science and technology information service,this study reflects the current situation of agricultural science and technology information service.Then this study analyzes the demand of agricultural science and technology information based on farmers' knowledge of agricultural science and technology information,requirements,channel of requirements and purchase intention.Based on the analysis above,this study analyzes the difference of agricultural science and technology information demands of different characteristics farmers on six aspects,which are age,education level,family population,annual income,scale of operation and degree of agricultural specialization.Finally,this study summarizes the problem in the agricultural information service of Dawa:(1).Malposition of supply and demand of agricultural science and technology information:Malposition of content supply and demand of agricultural science and technology information;Malposition of channel in supply and demand of agricultural science and technology information.(2)Problems in supply of agricultural science and technology information:the backwardness of infrastructure and the obstacle to the spread agricultural information;The development of information resources is not enough and not specific;The lack of professional agricultural science and technology information service personnel.(3)Problems in the requirement of agricultural scieuce and technology information:Information quality and sense of information of Farmers is weak;Low level of household income and high cost of information services.According to requirement situation and problems of the agricultural science and technology infonation,this study proposes the following proposal:promote agricultural information infrastructure construction and train professional information service personnel to enhance the quality of information services in Dawa district;reinforce the role of government in agricultural information services;enhance the training of agricultural science and technology information to promote requirement;provide specific agricultural science and technology information based on different types requirements of farmers.
