Toyota Enterprise R&D Model And Its Impact On Regional Economy

The automobile industry has the longest industry chain with the leading industry effect in all industrial sectors.Its obvious scale effect and diffusion effect determine the importance of the automobile industry to a country’s economic development and economic security.In the global market,the Japanese car with its fuel-efficient,light,low emissions and other distinctive features occupies an irreplaceable important position in the world’s auto market.Japan’s Toyota Corporation is the world’s largest auto companies.It has a pivotal position in the global automotive industry.Based on the theory of independent innovation,industrial agglomeration theory and related economic geography,regional geography theory,using ArcGis software and Eviews software,analyzed the data of "Japan Statistical Yearbook 2010",“Aichi Prefectural Formula Website "”2009 Aichi Prefecture Statistical Yearbook","Toyota Motor Group’s 2010 edition".This paper reviews the research and development process of Japanese automobile enterprises,This paper analyzes the characteristics and upgrade process of Toyota R&D mode,ie Suriawase Model.Using qualitative and quantitative methods to further analyze the impact of Toyota’s running in and negotiation model on the regional economy,And the model is a reference and inspiration for the auto enterprises in our country.Toyota’s R&D mode is an independent innovation type of R&D mode,differented from the US Department of automotive independent R&D mode.The R&D entity is a Group enterprise that has established good cooperative relationship with Toyota for a long time,and share intellectual property rights with Toyota;the supply chain presents a vertical pyramid structure,there is a multiplier effect between the core components of the output;Group enterprises generate agglomeration in space,and it drived the Aichi prefectural economic development,the industrial structure of Aichi prefectural is mainly made up of manufacturing,In the manufacturing industry,the proportion of conveying machinery(ie automobiles)is the most prominent.Secondly,according to regression analysis,we think the phenomenon of agglomeration of Group enterprises under the Toyota R&D mode has a positive impact on the regional economy of Aichi prefecture,and the accumulation of talents is the most important factor to promote regional development.Toyota’s R&D mode is driving the flow of factors within Aichi prefectural,narrowing regional economic disparities.The technology diffusion effect produced by the flow of production factors makes the neighboring enterprises develop.Group companies learn from each other and complement each other,and establish network pattern.And last,this paper argues that Toyota’s R&D mode is the product of Toyota’s corporate culture.In the upgrade process,Toyota R&D mode should conform to the trend of automotive development,and enhance the development of information technology and intelligence.Finally,according to the characteristics and development process of Toyota’s R&D mode,this paper puts forward some reference and inspiration for China’s automobile enterprises.
