In recent years,with the growing demand for medicine,the pharmaceutical industry is gradually entering a new stage of rapid development.However,the development of pharmaceutical logistics is significantly behind the development of the pharmaceutical industry,and there exist problems such as inefficient distribution and inventory activities in most pharmaceutical companies.It is of great practical significance to resolving the contradiction between inventory and transportation and reducing logistics costs by means of the whole plan of distribution and inventory,with systematic inventory management.This paper proposes the inventory distribution problem in a three-level distribution system with a distributor,some warehouses and multiple geographically dispersed retailers.In this problem,each retailer faces a demand at a stochastic rate for a single product,and regardless of shortage.This paper studies this problem from two sides.One is building the inventory and distribution model without considering location.In this problem,the warehouse is certain?Deciding which retailers are replenished directly from the distributor,the objective is to determine a combined inventory and distribution strategy minimizing a long-run average system-wide cost while meeting the demand of each retailer without shortage.The other one is building the inventory and distribution model of considering location.In this problem,the number and location of warehouse,the inventory and distribution strategy should be determined.According to A pharmaceutical company,a genetic algorithm is designed,and MATLAB software is used to determine the inventory and distribution strategy,then comparing the better results to the original plan.At the sa,me time numerical experiments are made,the model and algorithm is proved effective and reasonable.
