Studv On Development Of Trade Facilitation And China's Cross-border E-commerce

As the first multilateral agreement signed by WTO since it was founded,Trade Facilitation Agreement has strengthened the confidence of recovering global trade to a certain extent,and has also played an increasingly important role in global trade activities.In recent years,as a popular emerging type of trade,cross-border e-commerce has becoming more and more active on the stage of international trade,with the continuous maturity of information technology and the continuous diversification of trade.How to make cross-border e-commerce develop and mature gradually with the help of trade facilitation,has becoming an important goal for global economic and trade development.This article chose the hot spot of trade,and studied the level of import and export of cross-border e-commerce in China from the perspective of trade facilitation.Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process,it has established a relatively perfect index system of China's trade facilitation to show the level of trade facilitation of China in 2008-2016.It is pointed out that the degree of development of trade facilitation in China is relatively backward at the present stage,and there is a large gap between countries with other high level countries.And then it carried out an empirical analysis,which selected the cross-border import and export transactions of 19 major trading partners to China as the explained variable and chose GDP,TFI,FDI and tariffs as explanatory variables.Using the fixed effect model,the article measured the trade facilitation's impact on the scale of China's cross-border import and export.The study found that trade facilitation and the level of China's cross-border e-commerce development show a positive correlation.At the same time,the case of Aukey has also supported this view.Finally,with the help of the empirical results,the article put forward the corresponding improvement suggestions for the various indicators of the trade facilitation system,so as to facilitate the optimal allocation of resources,and improve the level of China's trade facilitation and promote the development of cross-border e-commerce.
