Taking the listed state-owned energy corporation Q as an example,this paper analyzed the performance management status of Q Corporation,summarized existing problems and its causes,tried to put up with a set of comparatively perfect corporation performance management system through document analysis,investigation and survey,talk,empirical analysis,analytic hierarchy process on the basis of Balanced Score Card theory,and tried to discuss its operation and feedback,the supporting measures on the implementation of the performance management system.This paper aimed at solving the existing performance management problems of Q Corporation,promoting the implementation of corporate strategies,improving its management level and competitiveness,building up fair and active corporation atmosphere,and promoting its staff to make progress together with the corporation.This paper held that Balanced Score Card theory can help the corporation to effectively implement its strategies,but the efficient operation of the performance management system still requires the understanding and efforts of its entire staff.In performance management system,the content of index system reflects the corporation's development direction,and guides the work direction of all its departments,thus choosing performance index is the key to performance management.Even so,whether the performance management system will work depends on its feedback and application.This paper tried to make an innovation in the design of performance management index system.It proposed“social responsibility and corporate brand building”as a customer dimension evaluation indicator according to the characteristics of Q Corporation,and come up with relatively specific index evaluation methods for this non-quantitative indicator so as to solve those problems which are difficult to measure and evaluate.
