Formulation And Research On Standard Working Hours For Wool Sweater Production Based On MTM

Standard time is mainly used to determine the work of enterprises or product workload,weaving production and cost planning,development of work standards and improving work.Therefore,the establishment of standard time is the enterprise to improve production efficiency,a necessary condition for management optimization.A lot of labor-intensive enterprises in China have a large amount of labor force which have made the development of working hours staggering and have not been improving.This is resulting in the standard time of the study is relatively weak.In this paper,a wool sweater manufacturer in Beijing is used as the object of this study,and the production time of the sweater is formulated and studied by MTM(Methods-Time-Measurement),which is the standard time.In this paper,the process of wool sweater production process is analyzed and researched.According to the characteristics of knitting and sewing.The knitting and stitching process which is the longest and the most difficult in sweater production is divided into two parts:flat knitting machine weaving,hand-knitting machine knitting,sleeve suture and hand-sewn four types of processes detailed work steps refinement.The whole process from the video was analyzed and classified according to the process time of 120 minutes.The MTM-UAS language system was used to determine the nature partition,coding and time of 308 work steps,and 117 working elements were extracted.The establishment of a sweater production process framework,and in accordance with the content of the process framework to build data modules.The actual working time measurement of a wool sweater and MTM method were compared to determine the rationality of MTM method.Finally,the standard man-hour method is used to calculate the standard man-hour of sweater production.The significance of the research in this paper is that MTM can be applied to labor-intensive enterprises in China(garment manufacturing industry).It can help these enterprises to develop more accurate standard working hours and improve production efficiency.
