In recent years,both international and domestic economy have been in downturn period through bouts and adjustments for some time.With problems like slow and slump development,measures and quality of economic increases need further improvement and adjustment.The downturn has pressed various domestic economic entities and inhabitants' consumptive power.With spice enterprises changed from state-owned reform as the study object,with their problem of slowdown competitiveness year by year as the starting point and by scientific means,the essay analyzes causes that reduce their competitiveness and offers strategies to improve it on account of internal and outside situations.Nanjing LH Marketing Limited Company studied by this essay is facing management and business lags pinned by the state-owned enterprises and various hardships and pressures from fund,operation risks and competition from peers.The company has problems like immobilized business models,products singularity,few consciousness of competitiveness,inadequate incentive policies,weak execution,low cost-effectiveness of labors and so on.The company cannot wait to improve its own competitiveness and be profitable by ration use of its own resources and integration of outward resources.Firstly:the essay explains background and aims of the research,introduces relevant ways of research and thinking as well as theories and results from scholars both at home and abroad on enterprises core competitiveness.It also narrates connotation,features,content and theoretical basis of how to improve competitiveness.It points out restraining factors against improvement of LH Company competitiveness under the present market economic situation in China.All these pave the way for the coming strategic research on the improvement of enterprise competitiveness.Secondly:by the analysis of Michael Porter's Five Forces Model and classic analysis method of SWOT in management,through discussion about the operational problems on four aspects like competing advantages and disadvantages,potential-opportunities,the essay makes a systematic analys-is on the inward and outward environment elements on this marketing company in Nanjing.Finally:the essay also puts forward corresponding strategies for the company to improve its competitiveness against restraining elements such as downturn of market economy,inadequate consciousness of competitiveness,singularity of operation model and products,incomplete incentive systems,lack of execution power and low cost-effectiveness of labors and so on.According to the research,competing advantage of LH lies in fundamentality and likability that its products are seasonings indispensable to people's daily life;simultaneously it also enjoys a good platform for upper providers and lower retailers.There,will be a large space for the company to improve its competitiveness if it changes its business thinking and rely on its positive marketing strategies.
