Under the background of knowledge economy and the information age,the competition among enterprises has turned into talents competition.As the essential factor of enterprise's life and vitality,the manager decides whether the enterprise can survive and develop in the changeable market environment.The asymmetry of market information,the social characteristics of relationship and the imperfection of formal system all require managers to use their own social capital for enterprises to seek more benefits.Social capital comes from the social network,the value social relationship of the network need to rely on individual interpersonal skills to sustain,and individual interpersonal skills also depend on the personality traits of introversion-extroversion,because the latter determines the individual's social orientation and external behavior.Therefore,by studying the relationship among the introversion-extroversion of managers' personality trait,interpersonal skills and social capital can help enterprises to cultivate the needs of the organization management team,reduce hiring wrong people bring the opportunity cost.Based on the literature analysis,this paper constructs a theoretical analysis framework and theoretical model of the relationship among introversion-extroversion of personality trait,interpersonal skills and social capital of managers,then put forward the research hypothesis.The author thinks that the introversion-extroversion of personality trait of managers affect their interpersonal skills,and influence their social capital through interpersonal skills.In order to verify the hypothesis,this paper draws on the relatively mature measurement table at home and abroad,combined with the results of the previous research,and then established a formal questionnaire.After that,this paper used random sampling method to selecting Nanjing,Suzhou,Wuxi,Changzhou four economically developed cities in South of Jiangsu,carrying out an online questionnaire survey which include formal release and recycling.By means of SPSS20.0 and AMOS20.0 on the 402 valid questionnaires for reliability and validity analysis,demographic analysis,independent samples T test,one-way ANOVA,correlation analysis and structural equation model analysis,this paper further clarified the relationship among the introversion-extroversion of personality trait,interpersonal skills and social capital of the enterprise managers.The empirical results show that the extroversion of personality trait has a significant positive effect on enterprise managers' interpersonal skills and social capital;the introversion of personality trait has a significant negative effect on enterprise managers' interpersonal skills and social capital;interpersonal skills have a significant positive effect on social capital,and there is an intermediary role between introversion-extroversion of personality trait and social capital.According to that,this paper puts forward three suggestions from the enterprise level and individual level:First,enterprises in the recruitment and selection of managers in the process can improve the efficiency of the selection of management personnel through personality assessment,reduce the opportunity cost due to improper use;Second,enterprises should pay more attention to the training of managers of interpersonal skills,create conditions to strengthen communication,set up related training courses and after the assessment and feedback,enhance the management team interpersonal skills;Third,managers should take the initiative to improve the personality traits,establish self-confidence,moderate performance,consciously improve interpersonal skills,pay attention to the vertical communication and lateral communication common development,so as to accumulate competitive social capital.
