The Consistency Between The Characteristics Of Other People And The Behavior Of Others Affect The Maker's Time Discounting Preference

Time discounting refers to the psychological phenomenon that the individual value estimation of events is decreased with the passage of time.If policymakers were asked to choose in smaller instant rewards and larger delay rewards,people usually tend to choose smaller instant rewards.There are a lot of impact factors for temporal discounting,including social factors(cultural background,group decision-making and peer influence)is the important influencing factors,especially from the environment and the influence of others around them.In recent years,some studies found that others group as a kind of social influence factors plays a certain effect on the behavior of the individual decision.Compared with adults,young people are more influenced by others in behavior decision-making.when others make impulsive behavior,the individual will have more impulsive behavior.According to the characteristics of the others and behavior research has shown that the consistency of the characteristics,behaviors,characteristics and behaviors of other people can affect the individual's prediction of the behavior of others and their own cognition and behavior.How does the group of people with different characteristics influence the individual's temporal discounting task?This research adopts the selection method of time discounting paradigm,using two studies to explore respectively the consistency between other characteristics and the behavior of others in early adult individuals and adolescent individual intertemporal decision making time discounting effect.The first group of words into a sentence of start the task to start understanding the subjects with the typical characteristics of others,to ensure the first group of people with a "long term" or "short-sighted" characteristics.Then the subjects were asked to complete the temporal discounting task.Finally,through the reaction time and the right rate of the subjects in the external Emotional Simon Task,it is proved that it is successful to start the task in accordance with the characteristics of others.The results showed that the consistency between the characteristics and behavior of others with others the time discount preference in early adulthood and the adolescent stage of the decision makers have an impact,but when others have the same characteristics and behavior that are inconsistent with others' characteristics and behavior have a greater impact on time discount preferences.
