An Research On The Market Structure And Performance Of IC Industry In China

With the development of the information industry,it is playing an increasingly important role in the construction of national defense,national security and other aspects,has become a comprehensive index to measure a country or a region’s overall strength.In recent years,China IC industry continues to expand the scale and the domestic consumer market has been released,but the development of Chinese IC industry is also facing a shortage of investment,the structure is not perfect,lack of international competitiveness and other challenges.Under this background,research on the Chinese integrated circuit industry market structure and industrial performance is of great practical significance to enhance the international competitiveness of China’s integrated circuit industry,optimize the industrial structure.Based on the related theory of industrial organization theory as the foundation,in measuring software as a tool,analysis the relationship between integrated structure and industry performance of circuit industry with empirical analysis,and from the Angle of industrial economics,validating the integrated circuit industry market structure to improve the level of the industry performance influence.On the basis of the previous scholars research method,this paper adopts the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis method to analysis.First of all,according to the measure of market concentration index and method,calculating the market concentration and the size of the market of integrated circuit industry;Combined with the characteristics and development path of integrated circuit industry,based on the theory of industrial organization to analyze its features and product differentiation industry barriers.Secondly,using the factor analysis method and software SPSS.19,analyzing the market performance of China’s integrated circuit from the angel of debt paying ability,profit ability,operating ability and growth ability.Again,structuring a modeling to analysis the relationship between the performance of China’s integrated circuit industry level,and using the measuring software Eviews5.0 as an analysis tools to analyze the relationship between them.The result of empirical analysis indicate that China’s integrated circuit industry support the traditional hypothesis of market forces,the integrated circuit industry market concentration has significant positive influence on industry performance.According to the research conclusion,summarizing characteristics of the overall architecture of the integrated circuit industry in China,and putting forward industrial organization policy and other Suggestions to improve the integrated circuit industry marketstructure and improve the level of market performance.The innovation of this paper is to make use of the latest data of China to analyze the market structure of China’s IC industry.Secondly,using factor analysis method and rotating factor load matrix analysis method,establishing the model to evaluate the performance level of IC industry in China;Thirdly,the application of the "market power hypothesis" and "efficiency structure hypothesis" in China’s IC industry is verified.
