Small towns are bridges linking big cities and rural areas,and they are also buffer zones of urban economy and rural economy.The construction of small town is the only way of new urbanization development.There are all kinds of issues in the process of new urbanization,such as merely pursuing the improvement of quantity instead of quality,merely treating the ratio of urbanization as the same with the degree of modernization and etc.Under this circumstance,the development of new urbanization is of great importance in the development of social economy.C Town is a resource-based small-town in Xinmi City,and it is a prototype and representative in the process of urbanization.Under the background of promoting the new urbanization by the government,this thesis analyzes the status quo and problems of C Town in its process of urbanization using the relative data from 20110 to 2015.This thesis aims to interpret C Town urbanization profoundly and put forward some solutions.By adopting qualitative analysis with the reliable data,this thesis uses the governance as its theoretical tool to analyze the urbanization of C Town.The study of the construction of small-towns is mostly from a single aspect and few in multiple angles.However,this thesis analyzes the C Town from economy,society,environment and population,deeply explores the methods of urbanization and tries to provide the genuine and effective status of new urbanization.After the thorough analysis of C Town's new urbanization,this thesis raises three suggestions as developing the solid economic foundation and the social power,strengthening the ideological understanding and the system support,developing the advantageous resources and constructing the typical towns.This thesis also offers some referential advice for the new urbanization of some resource-based towns.
