| In recent years,with the transformation of China’s economic structure,the growth of the economy tends to be stable;the competition of the domestic heavy duty commercial vehicle market is becoming increasingly fierce.At the same time,the government continues to promote energy conservation,emissions reduction policies,limit load and weight regulations continue to impact on the development of heavy duty commercial vehicle.As one of the key powertrain products heavy duty transmission tends to the large torque,long life,lightweight,high quality,automation to improve the dynamic performance of heavy duty commercial vehicles,fuel economy,shift smoothness and driving comfort.Facing the increasingly fierce market competition situation,the major domestic and foreign commercial vehicle group in the introduction of their respective heavy commercial vehicle new products,are in its vehicle on the use of advanced heavy-duty transmission as one of the core competitiveness to enhance vehicle commodity power,market competitive advantage,even to grab more market share.In terms of commercial vehicle groups the FAW is the present domestic only one on the three assemblies(engine,transmission and axle)completely independent development and production.In the future,to maintain the FAW liberation of heavy commercial vehicles in the domestic market leading position is bound to continue to core powertrain products to develop and upgrade to meet the threat from similar products interiorly and abroad.Therefore,this paper studies the development strategy of heavy duty transmission,and develops and implements the development strategy of heavy duty transmission suitable for FAW,so as to enhance the commercial power of vehicle products and continue to create the competitive advantage of FAW’s brand products.Based on the theory of strategic management,this paper analyzes the current situation,existing problems and causes of the development of the heavy duty transmission of FAW by using the theories and practices related to strategic management and related works and papers.Analyze the external environment from the aspects of economy,politics,society and technology which influence the development of heavy duty transmission by the PEST analysis.From the domestic and foreign heavy duty transmission enterprises,the market performance of heavy duty transmission,the development trend of heavy duty transmission,to study the status of transmission industry.Summarize the FAW product development of the internal environment from the product development status and product development capabilities.This paper analyzes and discusses the advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and challenges by SWOT analysis,by means of QSPM,to make the choice of the product development strategy,identified to achieve the strategic goals of the heavy duty transmission product development of the implementation of the plan and makes a selection of product development strategies to determine the strategic objectives and implementation plans of heavy duty transmission by organization structure,development approach,information and human resources,etc.to develop the strategic objectives to achieve the necessary safeguards.Based on the research on the product development strategy of FAW’s heavy duty transmission,this paper combs the present situation and existing problems of the development of FAW’s heavy duty transmission,analyzes the internal and external competitive environment,studies and develops the strategic goal and the choice of the development of the heavy duty transmission and the implementation of security,then enhance the heavy duty transmission market competitiveness,to enhance the FAW Jiefang heavy commercial vehicles and FAW’s own business support to provide a reference. |
