Study On Warehouse Management Of A Manufacture Company

As the developing of economic globalization,the competition among enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce.Because warehouse management is an important part of enterprise management system,So enhancing the level of warehouse management could improve the overall management level and production efficiency of the enterprise.In recent years,the optimization of warehouse management has become an important content of enterprise management research.As it’s developing and expansion,A manufacture company’s original warehouse management has not adapted to it’s need,because a lot of warehouse management problems have affected it’s production efficiency.Based on investigation of A manufacture company,it found that there are three aspects of management problem in it’s warehouse management system: Unreasonable warehouse layout and organization framework of personnel management,not clearly division of personnel responsibilities,high safety stocks limit,so much slow moving materials,imperfection ERP management system and so on.About these problems,the optimization scheme was put forward in this paper: In order to improve the storage capacity and work efficiency,it re-divided the raw material warehouse layout firstly,and appropriate increased some staff and trained of computer operation and business ability for workers.In another,it redesigned the organizational structure of personnel management,and worked out personnel management and performance evaluation program.The JIS purchasing strategy was introduced to solve the problem of high safety stocks limit and established the slow moving materials management rule.It also improved the ERP system data template,and optimized the warehouse operation flow.Through the second development of the ERP software,the ERP data resource sharing of warehouse with other departments was realized.Through this study,on the one hand,it build a modern warehouse management system for A company,reduced enterprise warehousing costs and improved material turnover efficiency.Also it enhanced the competitiveness of the enterprises.In another,this paper also provides a theoretical basis for other enterprises to optimize the warehouse management,and it has some guidance and reference significance.
