The Research On Spatial Difference Of Regional Innovation And Its Formation Mechanism

In the era of knowledge economy,innovation is an important driving force of promoting economic growth.As the world's economic growth becoming slowed,more and more countries and regions have realized that the continuing development of the economy comes from the raise of innovation ability and they can occupy the advantage in the development of industry only by improving capacity of independent innovation.As a developing country,China's innovation ability strengthens continuously with innovation output growing and innovative structure optimizing,but the level of innovation there still exists certain gaps compared with the developed countries.What is more important,there are also imbalances of the innovation output and innovation development between different areas in China.Non-balanced development of innovation ability on the space will further aggravate the imbalance of economic development,thus exploring the difference of China's innovation output on the location and factors of the difference is of great significance.Based on the statistical data of 2005-2014,this paper choose the province area as the research object and analyses the present situation of patent output of 31 provinces in China and the innovation factors.On this basis,this paper verifies the spatial correlation of regional innovation output in our country through Moran s I index,Moran scatterplot,LISA cluster maps from the perspective of spatial economics.Finally,this paper uses the panel data model to explore the influence of innovation input,innovation environment,and foreign direct investment on regional innovation output separately.The empirical results show that economic environment and industrial environment have a significant positive effect on innovation output while education environment has a weak effect,but still embodied in positive influence.Innovation investment of manpower has an obvious positive influence,and the influence of promote investment in research and development spending is not significant.The influence of foreign capital introduction on China's overall innovation output is negative,that on the whole,our country at present not to absorb the foreign direct investment threshold.Then,it makes empirical analysis on the features of three areas respectively,in order to explore the different influences of various factors on different regional innovation output.The results show that the influence of funds investment and education level of eastern,central and western parts on output effects have significant differences.On the basis of current situation analysis and the empirical results,this paper provides specific advice to different regional to increase their outputs,which has an important practical significance to promote the coordinated development of our country.
