Evaluation Of Goodwill Value Based On Improved Cut Difference Method

In the context of many mergers and acquisitions,companies find it hard to evaluate goodwill of unidentified intangible assets.If a company with an overestimated goodwill cannot fulfill its goals,its profits will be affected.If a company with an underestimated goodwill is undervalued,its operation will be undermined.Thus,it is significant to have an accurate evaluation of corporate goodwill.The current domestic evaluation,however,includes neither industrial synergy,nor contribution of factors.As for Cut Difference Method,the value of goodwill equals total value minus single assets,a too high value.Therefore,by combining Entropy Weight Method and Analytic Hierarchy Process-Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method to supplement Cut Difference Method,this paper includes industrial impact and factors' effection into the corporate goodwill evaluation system to get an accurate result.The structure of this paper is as follows: The first chapter introduces the basic situation of the study;The second chapter combs the basic concepts and characteristics of goodwill,introduces two methods of evaluating goodwill,that is,the method of excess income and the method of cut difference,to evaluate the applicable scope and existing problems of goodwill,and chooses the method of cut difference as the object of study;The third chapter constructs the improved method of cut difference entropy weight FAHP,and analyzes the relevant theory of the model and the specific procedures used in the evaluation of goodwill value;To verify the accuracy of the improved method,the fourth chapter takes NJCZ as the case,using the cutting method to calculate the enterprise value of goodwill,according to the nature of the enterprise build the index system,and obtain the objective weight and subjective weight analysis hierarchy process using entropy method,combining the application of comprehensive weight to fuzzy comprehensive analysis in the model,get the enterprise goodwill,goodwill evaluation value adjustment;In the fifth chapter,we get the improved way of cut difference method to show the industry synergy effect and show the influence factors of goodwill contribution.However,because this study did not consider the inconsistencies brought to assess the value of the inaccuracy and the information is not complete,the accuracy of the evaluation index system is relatively low,so the use of cutting method to evaluate goodwill also needs further development...
