Since the founding of the China automobile after decades of development,It has made significant progress in the field of automobile production,the manufacturing technology,industrial layout,and infrastructure have made a relatively large increase,and gradually formed a comprehensive development of the whole industry chain.And Geely,as a representative of China brands,did not choose joint venture to enhance their own competitiveness,but choose the way of independent innovation,always adhere to the road of independent development,establish their own brand image,strengthen the core technology research and development capabilities,to find opportunities to international development.In 2010,it is to find the opportunity to acquire a Volvo car,the entire Volvo brand income capsule,access to all the technical resources Volvo.In this context,this paper analyzes the situation of Geely Automobile's competitiveness,and makes a research on the competitiveness of Geely automobile.Overall,the Geely acquisition of Volvo cars as the breakthrough point,through the analysis of the competitive situation before and after Geely acquisition,analysis and evaluation of Geely Group after the merger to evaluate changes in competitiveness,Geely acquisition of Volvo this transnational merger is an effective way of domestic independent brand car enterprises to enhance their competitiveness.Firstly,the background and significance of the research,the contents and methods of the research,the characteristics and development of the company are briefly introduced.This paper introduces the construction process of the performance evaluation system,including the selection principle of the performance evaluation system and the elements of the performance evaluation system.Then use the method of comparative analysis,the financial index Gillette are compared and evaluated,including the profitability index,growth index,operation ability index,resource utilization capacity index of single financial index,and the financial ability indexes for analysis comprehensive comparative.By using the comparative analysis method,the non-financial index Gillette are compared and evaluated,including the evaluation of future development ability,technical innovation ability,market share,customer,and non financial indicators on the individual ability of comprehensive comparative analysis.Finally,the development strategy of Geely after suggestions and on our own brand car enterprises.
