Since Jack Welch 's great success on reforming of General Electric in the 80 s of last century,a trend of flattening organizational structure gradually formed and swept the world.By using network technology,enterprises established information management platform to improve management efficiency,at the same time,organizational structure was large-scale streamlined,and more flat.After entering the new century,a large number of IT companies quickly rose up,they made the flat organizational structure reach the limit,created a number of new flat organization management philosophy.Company H is a state-owned military-tech research enterprises.At the end of 2013,the company made a strategic transformation into the general aviation industry.In order to meet the company's new strategy,the company leadership decided to flatten reform of the company's existing bureaucracy organizational structure,promote the company to shift the learning organization,so as to improve the team's innovation capacity and competitiveness,in order to cope with the fierce market competition in the future.With the new strategy in 2015 the company faced a huge setback,the company's flat management mode of operation has encountered more and more difficulties,and could not go on.The company had to restore its bureaucratic organization structure at the end of 2015,and turn back to the original management mode.In this paper,by the in-depth study of the relevant theories of the flat organization,analyzes the causes of the flattening of the organizational structure and the characteristics of the flat organization.Based on the real experience of company H,this paper analyzes the whole process of the flat organization reform of company H,as well as the achievements and problems in the actual operation.Combined with the relevant theory to do in-depth analysis of the problem,to find the cause of the problem,and gives a reasonable proposal.Based on the case study,this paper deepens on the understanding of the theory of flat organization.
