The Relationship Between Cooperative Internal Social Capital,Cooperative Performance And Cooperative Stability

Rural cooperative economy is an important way to achieve agricultural industrialization and modernization for China.Cooperative economic organization is now a more effective form of production and management in rural development,and the stability of the cooperative relationship is also an important condition to ensure the sustainable profitability of farmers and the effective risks sharing mechanism for production and management.Due to the short shelf life of some agricultural products,the price fluctuations and other vulnerabilities,the current level of cooperation is not strong enough,cooperation prospects are not optimistic.Farmers are still lack of stable cooperative sales channels,problems such as slow-moving agricultural products also occur frequently.Stable,effective and mutually beneficial cooperation inevitably would be the requirement of rural development.The theory of social capital provides a new perspective for many social problems.Usually in agricultural partnership issues,cooperative performance is directly related to cooperative relations,and cooperative stability has a deeper effect on the sustainability of cooperation.Social capital theory holds that individual behavior is embedded in the network of their relationship,and the analysis of individual behavior and perception should be combined with the specific social relations.Therefore,the stability of farmer cooperatives is bound to be influenced by the internal social capital.This study will focus on the relationship between cooperative internal social capital,cooperative performance and cooperative stability.This paper constructs a logical model comprising of "internal social capital--cooperative performance--cooperative stability".Based on the questionnaire survey of the members of the farmer cooperatives,the internal social capital was used as the exogenous latent variable,the cooperative stability was the endogenous latent variable,and the cooperative performance was used as the mediator,used SPSS 22.0 and AMOS21.0 and other statistical analysis software,the structural equation model and path analysis were carried out,the function mechanism of cooperative internal social capitaland cooperative performance on cooperative stability have been studied.The results show that the cooperative internal social capital and cooperative performance have a positive effect on cooperative stability.Cooperative internal social capital has a positive effect on cooperative performance.Social network has positive effect on social performance,social trust and social network have positive effect on economic performance.Cooperative performance plays a mediating role in the relationship between cooperatives internal social capital and cooperative stability.The role of social trust in promoting cooperative stability is influenced by some mediating effects of economic performance.The role of social networks in promoting cooperative stability is influenced by some mediating effects of social performance and economic performance.However,the role of cooperative norms in promoting cooperative stability is not influenced by mediating effects of cooperative performance.Based on this,some inspirations on how to improve cooperative stability had been concluded.
