Undergoing the booming of scientific research activities in this information generation,researchers require a variety of information during the scientific research process.In the past,the demands for scientific research personnel to reveal the content,only to stay in the user's surface needs,while ignoring the potential demands.This paper analyzes the most influential academic community Xmuchong forum in China,including 39,000 articles in six sections,such as contribution of papers,fund application,academic conference,information retrieval,patents and standards,and biological sciences,through word frequency statistics and content analysis.And summarizes the potential comprehensive and specific disciplin information demand of the researchers in the process of project establishment,project implementation and project completion.The results show that the scientific researchers in the project establishment,including the demand of the document information resources,the application of science funds.In the project implementation process,it including the experimental equipment,experimental methods,research tools and academic conferences as the representative of the academic exchange needs.In the final stage of the project,there are papers contribution needs,achievement transformation needs and academic evaluation needs.Based on this information demand,this paper puts forward the the library should strengthen the reorganization and utilization of the information resources,continuously improve the information literacy of the scientific researchers,cooperate with other departments to carry out information service,and promote the informal academic exchange activities.
