Power supply companies are significant utilities for promoting national economic development and social harmony. Moreover, the characteristics of power simultaneous balance and inability to be stored determine that the power enterprises have to adopt the credit sales mode of ?Selling first, charging later?.This mode means that the credit risk of large consumers with considerable shares of receivables will directly influence the stable development of power enterprises.Since the new-round of power reform,China's direct electricity trade and demand response pilot areas have both expanded,as well as the distributed power market on the power user side. The series of market reforms have turned large consumers from single power buyers to active market participants. They not only affect the huge cash flow of power enterprises, but also have an impact on the system steady operation, increasing the operating risk and safe risk of power enterprises. Therefore, the traditional customer credit risk focusing on amount overdue and electric larceny cannot meet the need of comprehensive evaluation of consumer credit risk.In view of this, the research on how to build a reasonable and feasible credit risk evaluation model is a significant link of the development and transformation for power companies. This will also provide reference and decision support for power enterprises to establish differentiated service strategy according to different levels of credit risk.Centering around the comprehensive credit risk evaluation of large power customers, this paper firstly summarizes the characteristics of existing credit management theory and power credit risk evaluation system application, and analyzes the defects of traditional credit assessment of power consumers.Secondly, based on the principles of typicality and convenience, the dissertation selects three indexes of performance willingness, per formance behaviors and performance abilities to construct the credit risk evaluation system. In addition,it incorporates ?policy responsiveness? and other influencing factors into the system.Thirdly, the credit risk evaluation model is respectively built based on TOPSIS method and fuzzy synthetic evaluation method. The proposed model is applied in a case system to sort the evaluated consumers, which helps verify the reliability and feasibility of the established index system and evaluation model. Finally, from the perspective of power enterprises, the dissertation formulates differentiated marketing schemes directing at different credit risk level based on the case study results. The research provides guidance for power enterprises to design credit risk management mechanism, which helps the companies to perform coordinated management for large customers with differentiated credit level, optimize resource allocation and enhance the ability of risk control.
