The Impact Of Strategic Change On Technological Innovation Strategies

Manufacturing enterprises are faced with a complex and competitive environment in recent years,they have to change the original strategies for sustainable development,at the same time,technological innovation strategies are related to the success of change in the process of strategic change,and it affects the strategic change and performance,in addition to that,the top management team is the decision-maker of strategies and technological innovation strategies.Based on this reality,this paper analyzes the influence of strategic change on technological innovation strategies and how the top management team adjust their relationship,and how the impact of strategic change on technological innovation strategies acting on the firm's market performance on the further studies,through analyzing the 130 manufacturing enterprises.Firstly,this paper summarizes the relevant theories and research status about strategic change,technological innovation strategies,executive team,performance and their relationship with each other at home and abroad,and puts forward this paper's research variables,framework,and hypotheses.Then designing questionnaires,collecting data,and through the pre-research scale to amend the formal questionnaire,then analyzing the data for the reliability test and confirmatory factor analysis.Using correlation analysis,test for heteroscedasticity,collinearity inspection,DW test and multiple regression equation to research how the strategic change affects on the technological innovation strategies and how the top management team's age,women's participation,tenture and educational level adjust this kind of relationship,and then constructing the structural equation model to verify the mechanism of "strategic change-technological innovation strategies-performance".According to quantitive research,the response speed of strategic change has a positive influence on the alliance innovation,independent innovation and imitation innovation,and the adjustment speed of strategic change has a negative influence on the alliance innovation and independent innovation.The scope of strategic changeinnovation has a positive influence on the alliance innovation,independent innovation and imitation innovation.The average of top management team educational level,age and tenture play a significant positive regulatory role in the relationship between strategic change and technological innovation strategies,however the women's participation in top management team has no obvious adjustment effect.When the firms' response speed of strategic change becomes more and more faster,the scope of strategic change gets wider,the firms' are increasingly inclined to choose the alliance innovation and independent innovation,and in such condition the firms' business performance will be better.To make up for the shortage of quantitative research and to understand the enterprises' actual situations,this paper takes TCL corporation as an example to study the choice of technological innovation strategies and the final perfomance results in the diffirent response speed,adjustment speed,scope of strategic change.
