In this paper,the author makes investigation to new employees from a state-owned enterprise in Wuhan.The purpose of the study is to find the factors effecting the organizational socialization of newcomers.Multiple statistical methods are applied in this study,such as factor analysis,one-way ANOVA,and regression analysis.Finally,the conclusions are as follows:(1)the process of new employees' organizational socialization includes three stages,vision period,run-in period and stable period respectively.(2)Pre-entry expectation?proactive behavior?interpersonal interaction?organizational norms all have positive correlation relationships with newcomers' organizational socialization,but pre-entry expectation has no correlation relationship with organizational cognition.(3)At the different stages of newcomers' organizational socialization,there are differences in their influencing factors.In the vision period,proactive behavior?interpersonal interaction?organizational norms all have a significant positive impact on newcomers' organizational socialization;in the run-in period,only proactive behavior has a significant effect on newrcomers'organizational socialization;in the stable period,proactive behavior?organizational norms have a significant positive impact on newcomers'organizational socialization.
